DAY 01: HO CHI MINH CITY - CAI BE - VINH LONG (Lunch & dinner)

Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Cai Be town, Tien Giang province. You will hop on board a boat to visit Cai Be Floating Market  which is so busy from 06:00 a.m. Wholesalers on big boats moor here, each specialising in various kinds of fruit or vegetables, hanging samples of their goods from high wooden poles. The next destination in the tour is the workshop where you have a chance to learn about how people make rice paper, pop-rice, coconut candy... Here you can enjoy some candy and sip your hot tea before taking a canoe (rowing-boat) to move along aquatic palm arroyos and admire the beauty of the countryside. Then, you will head over to Tan Phong Island for walking on village paths to learn about traditional houses, religious beliefs and daily activities of local people... En route, you will see how people weave coconut-leaves for cottage roof and dried water-hyacynth for baskets, bags, hats, shoes, etc… Next, you are going to take a canoe (rowing-boat) to move along aquatic palm arroyos and admire the beauty of the countryside. Lunch will be served at homestay and then take a motorboat to go across the Mekong river before you can reach An Bình island and check in at homestay. Enjoy some traditional Vietnamese dishes for dinner with the members of local family and stay overnight at homestay.

• The group of 01-10 pax will enjoy Vietnamese traditional music before check in at homestay.

•  The group of 11 pax - up will  enjoy Vietnamese traditional  music  after dinner.

DAY 02: VINH LONG - HO CHI MINH  CITY (Breakfast)

Enjoy breakfast at homestay and take a walk along the village to enjoy fresh air and stop off at some local workshops to see how people make rice paper, coconut candy, pop-rice... You can enjoy some candy and sip your hot tea. Take a boat ride to visit Brick-kiln to see how brick and pottery items are made. Also, you will have a chance to see how to farm catfish on the Mekong river before visiting Vinh Long market. You can take some pictures of fish, shrimps, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice rats, tropical fruits and vegetables. The cruise will end at Vinh Long tourist pier and drive back to Ho Chi Minh city. END OF TOUR.
